In just 30 minutes, we’ll work together to make meaningful progress toward securing the right support for your child.
First, we’ll unpick the difficulties you and your child are facing — whether that’s at school, home, or during transitions — and clarify exactly how the law supports you. You’ll leave knowing what your rights are and how to use them.
Next, we’ll audit any current accommodations or support in place, identifying what's working, what’s missing, and where improvements can be made.
Then, we’ll map out a practical, step-by-step pathway to securing better provision, whether that means reasonable adjustments, SEN support, or pursuing an EHCP.
Finally, I’ll signpost you to carefully selected resources and guidance so you feel empowered to take the next small but significant step for your child.
Common Topics I Can Help With:
Understanding your child’s legal rights under SEND and equality law
Identifying unmet needs and gaps in school provision
Preparing for or reviewing an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan)
Navigating school meetings with confidence
Writing strong parental contributions for assessments
Requesting reasonable adjustments for anxiety, sensory needs, or PDA profiles
Supporting girls with autism or masking presentations
Tackling school refusal or emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA)
Transition planning (changing schools, moving from primary to secondary, etc.)
Helping your child’s voice be heard in the process
Making sense of professional reports (OT, SALT, EP)
Advice for home-educating families or part-time timetablesReferrals and pathways to further support
First I will clarify the law around reasonable adjustments and your child, so you know exactly what your rights are...
Then we will audit any existing accommodations in place so we can identify gaps and further measures that would help...
Next we will map out a pathway to getting better provision in place..
And finally I will signpost you to a wealth of resources, which will help you to take the next little step towards ensuring your child has the right reasonable adjustments in place...
All in 30 minutes.
I reached out to Sara to seek her advice recently whilst my son’s school was failing him and his SEND needs. She immediately spoke through the situation with me and took notes from both my perspective as a parent as well as my son's views. Sara was able to rationally look through all the correspondence that had been sent and able to see where the school were evidently wrong. Sara used her vast knowledge and extensive skills to ensure the school had no choice but to agree to a meeting where they finally saw all the needs that he has. My son felt that his voice was being heard, and it helped him to feel empowered. Together we created a plan which Sara had outlined, allowing my son to have a reduced timetable to be able to ease back into school life at a pace that suited him.
I honestly don’t know who else we would have spoken to that had such a knowledge and empathy with the horrific circumstances that we were in as a family. It was great to have Sara available to be able to feel my pain as a parent, who felt helpless in this situation, knowing there was someone else in our corner fighting for him.

Sara's knowledge of children with additional needs is incredible. She sent me a fantastically written template letter after my son was suspended and I believed they hadn't followed the correct procedures and hadn't made any reasonable adjustments for my child at school. I would highly recommend Sara as she holds a lot of valuable understanding and knowledge in ensuring your child is being given the education they deserve and that adjustments are being made to meet their needs.
